Class begins for Battalion 3 of the Bucks Basic Fire Academy

Five members of Trevose Fire Company begin their classes as a part of Battalion 3 in the fall session of the Bucks Basic Fire Academy. Upon completion of the nearly 200 hours, three-and-a-half-month program, these probationary firefighters will earn their ProBoard Firefighter 1 certification, Hazmat Awareness, and Operations certification, and the right to exchange their Yellow helmets and green shields for a black helmet and shield with the station number “4”.
