pWhat is our QRS program you askppA Quick Response Service QRS is a non-transporting unit that responds to emergency medical calls of the sick and injured. Commonly referred to as a QRS unit these types of services were established throughout Pennsylvania where there were no close locally based transporting ambulance service and the QRS unit would then be dispatched to respond and perform Basic Life Support BLS skills to the sick and injured prior to the arrival of the ambulance. ppYou may notice on our website under the call log a QRS counter. This number reflects how many times our QRS unit responded to 911 calls for medical assistance. Either with the Bensalem Township Emergency Medical Services or with the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad.
