Trevose Fire Company Returns House Siren to Service

Over the past few days, you may have heard a wailing noise every so often, or a few church bells in the area.  Trevose Fire Company is pleased to announce that we have repaired our house siren.  The siren, which operates between the hours of 8AM and 6PM is used to alert our firefighters that there is a call in our “first due” local which encompasses an area between Brownsville road to the west, Bristol Road to the north, Route 1 to the the east, and county line road to the south.  The Siren is also used to alert residents that our firefighters will be responding to the station, as well as to be alert for emergency vehicles in the area.

The Siren also functions as a bell tower and rings at both 12noon,  and 6PM.
