Passing of President, Past Chief, and Life Member Joseph Seborowski Sr

The Officers and Members of Trevose Fire Company regret to announce the passing of President and Past Chief Joseph M. Seborowski Sr. Joe served for over 62 years and was a Life Member of TFC. Joe served in many capacities over the years. Joe was our longest-serving company president. He served as a chief fire officer for almost 50 years and served as an executive officer of our Relief Association. It is a legacy that is hard to replace. It is safe to say the Trevose Fire Company is who we are today because of the leadership and steady hand of Joe.
Joe was Professional Engineer (PE) and worked for the Department of Defense for many years at a number of military facilities in the Philadelphia region. He used many of the skills he learned to help build two of our firehouses, our current fleet and past generations of apparatus, and numerous other projects for the fire company.
Our deepest condolences to his wife, Kathleen, sons Joe and Michael, his step-children, sister and Life Member Marianne McGinnis, sister Barbara, his family, and friends.
Joe was a member of our Heavy Rescue Championship team back in the day (as seen in this photo). There are many wonderful stories that can be told about Joe but his passion to serve as a volunteer in the fire service is evident by the wisdom and years he gave to TFC.
